On Thursday 29th May we experienced an issue making May's pension payment to pensioner members of the Nestlé UK Pension Fund (the fund).

We'd like to apologise to any members who were impacted.

As a result, we weren't able to make pension payments on Thursday 29th May as expected – we can confirm payments were subsequently made on Tuesday 3rd June.

Please note the issue only affected pensioners in the Fund (that is, Fund members who are in receipt of their pension). As an employee member of the Fund, this issue has not impacted the pension you are building up or the pension contributions you are making.

This was a third-party issue with our banking provider outside of our control and we worked quickly to make sure outstanding payments were made as soon as possible.

The Finance Treasury Team, Pensions Team and our UK&I Payroll Team are working closely with our banking provider to make sure this mistake doesn't happen again.
